This new boutique hotel opened it's doors in February 2018, boasting comfort and a functional design.  The concept behind the hotel's minimalist architecture was inspired by the Global Seed Vault, a safety stock placed deep in the permafrost in Svalbard, where seeds from all around the world are stored in order to ensure food supply for future generations. 

Conveniently located a short way away from the main street in Longyearbyen, this hotel has a guest lounge, elevator, luggage store, 24 hour Reception and Wi-Fi access. Breakfast is served in the hotel each morning.

The Vault also has its own onsite restaurant, 'Nuga' serving Japanese cuisine including sushi, ramen, tempura and dumplings.
