Built in 1956 for Norwegian coastal voyages, the MS Nordstjernen was extensively modernised in 2000 for Arctic sailing. Despite modernisation, she retains the aura and traditional character of an old Atlantic ship, restored to her former splendour with new brass, classic wooden interiors and her original artwork.
Out on deck you can watch the spectacular Arctic scenery from covered and uncovered deck space. Inside she is equipped with a dining room, bar, café, panorama lounge and a library. MS Nordstjernen carries a maximum of 149 passengers.

The team will provide full safety briefings on what to expect in each place visited, including what to do to minimise environmental impacts whilst there.
